Canmore Alberta is absolutely stunning with crystal clear waters while being surrounded by stunning mountain views. It is a beautiful mountain town with a population just under 20,000 people. It is located a short 1.5 hours from Calgary, and 4 hours from Edmonton.

Canmore is a very popular year-round vacation spot and of course, it is one of the dreamiest wedding destinations in Alberta. The many picturesque mountains that surround this gorgeous town include the likes of Three Sisters, Mount Rundle, Grotto, and Mount Lady MacDonald to mention a few.

Canmore has some of the best sunset views I have ever seen, some of these picturesque locations include Grassi Lake or even Gap Lake. Both are close enough to the town of Canmore proper, for ease of traveling for you and your guests.
